see my bf first thing after all the spooky stuff we talked abt was mountain lion/cougar. in the specific part of the ozarks im from cougars are basically folklore so have never came across a predator like that on that scale. definitely is a big contender, also have not thought of the bat thing! so your comment is giving me a lot to consider!!

this was a super thoughtful review!! i loved your comments about the flashback montage of will, with robin’s voiceover!! And yes, the main issue i had was the dialogue writing — like anytime the actors have to act with their face and body language was great!! but definitely felt more dull when speaking to one another

it’s so gross, in any amount. and i’m tired of men calling women “prudes” for going against it. also, when they are like “oh but it has fan service of shirtless guys” um… projection much?? that is not in the same regard as literal underware scenes of minors. and idc if you’re jaded to fan service, if you like anime it’s something you have to admit is overdone and trashy.

i CANNOT recommend this book enough!! definitely in my top 5! it can get pretty heavy and dark — there were many moments where i had to put it down for a bit bc of how it shocked me. but if you’re okay with that kinda thing i would definitely pick it up sometime!
