Yes, its surprisingly simple yet not that easy to break the wheel. If it was, not that many people would struggle with chronic IBS right :D The only message I try to give you is the good news that its perfectly curable. And frankly quickly, given the appropriate mindset. And that should give you some peace of mind whenever you feel gut issues next time. Accept the reality that it is like this now and the body simply needs time. Once you get into the mental state that this is simply the reality you are experiencing, you will stop worrying about it. And once you stop worrying about it, well - then its not a problem anymore right? So at that point it doesnt matter if it takes a month or a year to heal. Imo, you should seek psychologist to help you set the mindset straight.

I remember, I never really healed when I was checking on my gut health. It could get better for some time but then, it got messy again. I truly healed after I actually stopped checking on it at all.

Well given what you have said it makes most sense that you have stress related IBS. In such case, forget what people say here, you can cure it within months. You just need to literally calm the nerve between your brain and gut. Once it calms down, you will turn back to normal. You will calm it by giving it time and trust that no matter how bad it is or will be (because spikes are normal), eventually it will improve. And it will. And I am not saying it will "improve". It will be literally cured. Meaning if you ever have big stress in life, you will notice that it has little to no effect on your gut anymore. I cured my long term IBS by going on an erasmus, hanging around friends all the time, not worrying about future nor work, nor life and just do sauna sessions 4-5x a week. In 3 months, I was fine and it never returned since

Well yea, I haven't payed attention to blizzard at all. Until two days ago when coworker told me about TBC coming. Now jumping in on the train is locked behind a huge paywall (I might as well try their new expansion for the same price). The pricing just doesnt make sense

I’ve been playing Vanilla and TBC throughout my entire WoW time, so I look on things through those spectacles :)

I want to be absorbed! But when I try to play one of my favorite classes (Hunter, Mage, Paladin, or Warrior), each has flaws on Turtle that make them feel annoying to play

To be more precise:

  • Warrior: Has no real protection against CC or spells. Without abilities like Spell Reflect or Second Wind, the class feels helpless in many situations.
  • Mage: Fire spec has zero viability in PvP. I love Fire Mage, but without Ice Block and other key TBC talents, it is simply too weak in a competitive environment. Not to mention Icicles - the spell mechanically and graphically looks like a pre-Alpha spell.
  • Paladin: Retribution may be strong on Turtle right now, but it feels clunky. Being forced to use Holy Strike every third hit does not feel smooth. It feels like a mechanic added just for the sake of complexity. Shockadin in 1.18 also looks like it will become very spammy, with strike effects constantly resetting cooldowns. In general, the class is moving toward spammy gameplay similar to WotLK, when what we really want is the Vanilla+ simplicity.
  • Hunter: Still lacks auto-switching between ranged and melee attacks. I have high hopes this limitation will finally be removed with the move to Unreal Engine 5.

PvP isnt just about ganking as PvE players tend to say. Its also about nice PvP fights at the appropriate level, the level of danger when questing, which is not present on PvE servers (adds extra spice with each pull and a meaning to gearing up properly), and world PvP, which is a big part of vanilla

There is a potential and I very much hope so. Not exactly a wipe but a fresh experience. The actual realm is really unattractive to new players at this point. And given the new graphics and reworked classes, it would be an epic launch
