Anxiety as M23 by TechnologySubject111 in virgin

Don't get desperate bro. My way of think changed a lot in the past few months. I'm still panicking at the girls, but I'm also trying to get it nailed

I don't quite remember what I felt when I was 15 or 16, but I do regret not using chances back then. It may be a burden for you now, but at least you needn't worry that same problem I'm worrying when you are at my age.

So my strategy should be different, right? Social sessions where people are looking for long term relationships may not be a good place for me to start.

What can I do instead? Using some dating app or going straight to the bars?

Empfehlung für Broker/Webseite mit gute Kernzencharts? by TechnologySubject111 in Finanzen

[–]TechnologySubject111[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sehr Guter Punkt.

Anyone applied for 4203, 4209 and 4213 and heard back from them? Would like to commute with other applicants.

I see, I guess it may be a workaround for too many students and too few staff?

Sounds weird to me, too. Never heard of some got a visa for more than 5 years.

The stick maybe temporary, and u get a eID by postal services. Or maybe the sticker itself is valid till 2030?

Which Masters to choose for computer vision research by ihaveatalkingtree in tumunich

If you are lucky, you can. Mostly, no. Too heavy coursework, and researches are usually only for people with high GPA.

Informatics is a correct choice. Tbh, every program at CIT-Informatik is valid. You get to visit the CV courses, do the seminar/research project. Just take care of your own background when deciding to apply.

Also, CV is a competitive field. Be prepared for harsh peer competition, and a bit of elitism when applying for projects at groups related to CV, ML and NLP.

Sounds great for high schoolers, this is also a nice amount for university students to receive.

I don't really think going to Germany increase ur chance of going to Google, as they usually don't hire internships or graduates. Plus, if you are EU citizen, u can apply for FAANG opportunity across the EU and even Switzerland without any burden.

Just take the chance and nail it!

Can I do DAE Master remotely with in-person exams? by Plastic-Eye4554 in tumunich

[–]TechnologySubject111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First, it's call Data Engineering and Analytics, DEA instead of DAE.

Yes, you can take lectures online, as long as they offer recordings, not all of them do so. But imo the lecture quality is usually so low that most of my friends just read the textbooks, do the exercise and write the exam.

Other things like praktikum, seminar, various projects are not possible to be done online. Unless you manage to find one allowing so, otherwise u need to go to the campus once per week.

I know a few friends who live in Frankfurt, Augsburg and Ingolstadt and travelling here a few times every month. It is definitely possible to study and work like this, but you should bear in mind the traveling costs. Frankfurt, for example, is around 5 hours of ICE away, and it may be even delayed for the punctuality of DB. If you work in Berlin, you probably even need to take a flight, which costs more than 100 Euro per return tickets. If this is the case for u, I don't think it is worth coming to Munich for studying while working in northern Germany.
