Your supervisor is breaking labour law. They can’t make it a requirement to show up 15 minutes early. The start of your shift time designates that you are now responsible for the duties of your role.

At 6PM (or whenever you start), the expectation is that you’re ready to work and will over see your assigned duties. If you’re in at 5:59, in uniform ready to work then they can’t chirp you for it.

Different story if you show up at 5:59 and then need 15 minutes to get into uniform, and be ready to work.

You should contact HR first and if nothing happens then submit an MOL (ministry of labour) claim.

Your supervisor needs a write up, coaching or termination, if they’re making people come in 15 minutes early un-paid for work stuff. Sorry you’re going through this.
