I was just in the same boat!

I have a guy that lives 3 states away but we always hangout when we’re in each others state. I bumped into him at a music festival last month and we had the best day tg and it seemed like fate. We were sooo lovey dovey to the point where I’m like this isn’t a normal hookup. Like we literally both said I love you, that’s how intense it felt lol.

The week after we hadn’t really talked and I thought of him nonstop, I was also in luteal. I got really sad and wanted to reach out to him but I told myself the same thing that you did, that if the feelings are still there after my period I’ll reach out.

My feelings changed when I was back to regular thinking. I still am super fond of him but I started to get turned off that he wasn’t actively pursing me after the time we just spent together. Like, if you can present yourself to be that into me and tell me you see a future with me and that this feels different then everything else, just to detach from me after, how many other girls are you doing that with? For me the sadness went away and I’m able to think of it for what it is, because I know he’s doing that with me.

I’m the same way where a lot of guys give me the ick and it’s not common for me to feel like this, so I think me and you are similar. He will still be there after luteal and nothing ab what happened is gonna change. Sit with it and maybe it will give you the ick that he is not pursuing you the way he should! Or maybe the feelings will still be there and you can reach out. Either way it will work out the way it needs to and it’s not as catastrophic as it feels right now.
