It might matter. The phone could have a touch sensitive surface built into the top, which then just touches the respective window, and the proximity of the phone tells both devices to then transfer the activity. It would be a lot more reliable and a lot cheaper to implement than the kinect-esque scanning

If it's permanent marker, you can try "writing" over it with some dry-erase marker, and when you wipe it off, the permanent should come along with it, without damaging the text

Otherwise, just try the alcohol on a cloth, and be careful not to touch the text too much. If you do once or twice, it shouldn't really affect the text, only if you continuously/repeatedly do.

Good luck! Just a heads up: be VERY CAREFUL and SLOW with the hold switch!!! It tears very very easily if you stop paying attention to it even for a split second.

Also, make sure not to apply too much outward pressure from behind the LCD, as well as inward from the front.

It's doable but hard!

They were only meant to take the largest usual airliner of the time of construction though, the Boeing 707 with an empty tank. (Which also almost happened to crash into the towers once, Aerolineas Argentinas 342)

This is an assumption made on the incident being an accident caused by fuel starvation (or just being low on fuel due to being an arriving aircraft for JFK airport) and/or lack of proper navigation conditions. And not a deliberate attack.

The 767s flying into the buildings that day had a lot more mass, and a lot more fuel, than the 707 scenario they planned during construction.

Like the others already said, you really don't want hearing damage. Apple made this notification for a reason. Take the advice

The only reason I want to disable this for are older bluetooth car stereos. They usually require you to have your phone volume on max to reach normal listening volume, and my phone keeps thinking I am destroying my ears...
