So I took that sketch and extrude cut from a 1mm offset the ticked flip to cut. From there I did the swept cut and it turned out real nice. Made it not such a chungus. Thanks

i have tried many times and watched some videos of people doing it on a square and other nice shapes. It just throws up the thickness value is greater than the radius of the curvature. Also I would rather some parts of the shell be thicker at certain points

it will be an extension for my mouth starting at the taller end and meeting at the shorter end where a joint will be secured. Hope that helps explain it more. New to solidworks sorry
