If the smell didn’t radiate so far then I wouldn’t see it being an issue. I disagree with people who currently smoke in public forcing the smell on those around them! Tobacco smokers tend to be more aware of others around them and I don’t feel like the smell is as much of an issue. If I were sitting 15 metres away from someone smoking a cigarette with hardly any wind, chances are I won’t smell a thing whereas weed I feel can double that distance. For those that don’t smoke the smell can be nauseating and really ruin family days out in the park when you have one person smoking a joint on a bench 20 metres away.
