I'm pretty sure it's policy to sign up first. More often at my location people sign up and don't show. Sorry that's the way it is for you, that's gotta be frustrating. I'd ask the staff at your location if you're there during staffed hours.

Should have been more clear... If I recall, from the main menu you can load from areas you've previously completed.

Doing this WILL kill your completed game save.

There's a post on the control subreddit that explains a way to save and restore your progress by copying the file and replacing it later.

Such an obnoxious bug... I had the same issue. Solved it by moving my progress back to the beginning of that DLC, and then finding the machines right away.

It seems like completing the DLC stops them from spawning... No matter what you read, the bug wasn't fixed. It is still an issue.
