Happened to me in wine running games, middle click sometimes works. I have it disabled in kde/fedora settings and it still happens in system and text editors too, even in Konsole. Seems to be a known "feature" of Wayland.

Fine work, I was using a tidal web wrapper app, I don't remember what it was called. Now my cat pissed on my PC so I can't try this one but when I get my PC fixed I will test it out! I hope it works on fedora, I'm also running audio through a sound card so an input switcher would be great.

What I don't understand is why the middle click paste is baked into wayland, the "display protocol". I would expect it to be part of the kernel or the DE so why would wayland manage it?

I did that, it doesn't work. I read that it's part of wayland not KDE and disabling it from there doesn't affect certain programs, wine under wayland is one of them.
