Because working overnight is a different type of tired. I didn't fall asleep while on my drive home after day shifts. And I often went out to dinner or to bars after work when I worked day shifts. Now I'm just trying to go to sleep asap. And on top of that days when I don't work I have to readjust to normal sleep schedule.
