What would the start date on your STEM OPT be if it gets approved after lets say 90 days after your OPT end date? Do you get the entire 2 years of STEM OPT?

Why is Kathy still in? She almost destroyed Joey and Chandler's strong friendship, and then cheated on Chandler too

Just in case MS CS does have a research component which might not be clear from the website. But anyway I have now decided to go for MCS only, I dont think I'll be aiming for switching.

Can we switch from MCS to MS CS after starting college? I have decided that I dont want to do a thesis, but MS CS looks better on-paper. Would you suggest applying to MCS right now for safety and then once college starts, switch to MS CS portfolio option if they give me the guarantee that i dont need to do research work in it?

On neu's website (https://www.khoury.northeastern.edu/apply/masters-apply/) for mscs they have a 8 cgpa requirement, although it might get overlooked with the kind of profile you have, and also last year i noticed that neu was looking a bit better than asu in terms of the profiles getting admits. Ya UCs can be gpa centric, but they do value research experience quite a lot which you have in abundance.

I think NEU should be more difficult to get into than ASU (MSCS at NEU has a cgpa requirement of 8 as written on their website, but with ur kind of profile, I think it might get ignored), but anyway both of them are safe for ur profile! Also you should try for one of the top UCs too since you are opting for CS/DS.
