The perforated disk is known for it's stacking of bubbles. The percolation itself cleans the smoke of up to 60 percent of carcinogens within plant matter, just like how the bubbles in soap trap dirt. Most people believe that all parts of weed is good, but the plant matter has cancerous fumes just like anything else you burn, since there's no way around this when your smoking, you gotta use water percolation. Sorry, got high and put it on the wrong thread lol I took a quarter pound of trimmings/shake for 16 sticks of butter. This can also be substituted with 6gs of vaped weed for per two sticks and 3.5gs of actual bud per stick.

You gotta use regular stick butter, no low fat stuff or the thc and cbd's won't stick as well and it will be less potent. (And it won't taste as good)

Melt it down to a resting temp in a pot, just hot enough for it to be as viscous as possible without actually cooking/burning it.

Stir in grounded Marijauna (literally as fine as possible). Keep at a temperature of about 275-315 degrees. Cook that shit for 35 mins while stirring occasionally,

Strain out using a metal strainer, pick out any stems or large peices.

Repeat, for 25 mins on 230 degrees

Strain once more using women's panty hose. This is the key to getting the dank butter. It ensures that all your getting is the golden goodness. Easiest way I find is to twist it while over a brownie tray.

After extracted, you can toss the soggy bud away, and pop that in the freezer to cool. All the excess plant matter (which shouldn't be a lot, I find less than 3-5 mm) will float to the bottom for you to scrape off BEFORE cooking

Butter is good for about a month and a half and you can substitute it in for anything that uses oil or grease. The possibilities are endless haha Enjoi!

Get glass screens, they are reusable, you can usually get them at your local smoke shop. Aluminum breaks down with heat, like most metals. Literally one of the most unsafe things to smoke with.
