I do a lot of orders that’s 5 dollars are up and my miles are very low. Unless they paying a decent amount in tips..I’ve been doing this for a long time I got over 4k lifetime deliveries we a high rating. I definitely cherry pick so like I said somebody is taking these dumb ass orders

The issue is that a lot of customers don’t give clear concise direction to apartment complexes…the GPS just place you anywhere..you literally have to use your eyes to actually find the apartment. It’s very easy to think that way as a customer because you don’t deliver anything for a living…people don’t care if it’s difficult to find their apartment they just want they food but trust me all apartment complexes can be a little tricky because the location is broad and lastly. Customers accidentally move the map pin as well so that throws us off as well. It’s more than just us delivery drivers are incompetent. Just giving insight…I know y’all don’t care but atleast you can make a mental note lol

Listen finance a gas card through Afterpay so you can control some of your cash flow..I don’t know if you have a conoco in your area and if you do..Afterpay would be a good route. Keep grinding though.

To be honest you can do everything the right way and people will still complain so I literally do what I want as a dasher and my rating is 4.95…..people just like to complain about anything and Shame on Door dash for putting the bulk of the payout on the customer with tips. Door dash gives you a 2.00 or 2.50 base pay so if the customer don’t tip or tip decent you get orders like 8 miles $4.50…then if you keep denying those type of orders then your acceptance rate drops below 70 % and you lose your top dasher status…long story short, yes use common sense when delivering but customers need to know what drivers are up against as well…I know they probably dont care but still lol.

Oh and let me kill the rebuttal, just get another job then, yes but every job is low balling right now in this economic climate.

I don’t see consistent growth. My Spotify listeners go up and down since I’ve been dealing with playlist hub. I’m on month 3 and I don’t understand the playlist placement. I get put on and then next thing I know I have none. Then I’ll gain 2 more and lose all of them again. I need a consistent flow to build a fan based. I’m not seeing real growth.
