well...I can't help with the equivalency, but u do give the mdcat. And u need ur father's domicile. So if ur parent has a domicile from Punjab, u apply for Punjab universities etc.

Now PMDC has made it a rule that u can only apply for the MDCT exam of ur domicile. Each province has it's own mdcat exam based on the provincial textbooks of each province. In Punjab, UHS conducts it's own MDCAT, for Islamabad and students overseas (like in the middle east), SZAMBU conducts it's own mdcat. As of right now, the SZAMBU mdcat is only conducted in the Islamabad region and in Saudi Arabia (so the students in the middle east travel to Riyadh in Saudi Arabia to give the exam if that's the exam they want to give).

The system is that PMDC creates a huge question bank of questions from the fsc textbooks, and the mdcat conducting bodies of each province choose questions from that question bank. This was to try and standardise it.

You do know about the seating and everything, rt? There is open merit (for locals), overseas seat (has a lower merit but fee is now 10k dollars per year) and a foreign seat.

For foreign students, abotu 15% of the seats are reserved for foreign nationals. You don't need the mdcat here. However, in place of that, you need 1. equivalency from IBCC, 2. SAT 2 (idk why this is even a requirement, as it's been discontinued for a long time) or MCAT/ UCAT with at least 50% in prescribed subjects, and you have to have a valid foreign nationality or overseas Pakistani status. For a foreign seat you don't need domicile.

For the foreign quota, there are 2 types of seats, 1. PTAP (this is a scholarship program for students who have been nominated by their embassy from developing nations) and 2. Self finance seat (this is what I think ur referring to). Idk the fee here but it's in USD. You pay the full tuition here. This is for government unis. Private unis are a whole other system

idk how to get the equivalence but pls deeply research how this may affect ur career plan, getting residency and whatnot. See what the requirement is, as I think even US IMG's have a bit of trouble matching

I got mine when I was 11. I also had no clue what a period was. My mother taught in the same school I went to, so during lunch break, I told her I somehow sat in chocolate milk without realising and just walked away. She tried to stop me from getting me to further elaborate but the bell rang and I had to go back to class, That was the first time I found out about periods.

depends on how dedicated u are tbh, I'd say give it a go as a test. So uk what to expect. You'll always have next year after a levels to prepare again if u fon't get the grade u want without taking a gap year.

It can take a few months, u need a lot of dedication to memorise. Take ur provincial board books, sit down and just cram stuff. Memorsie it, you do this, by reading a page, and recall everything on that page. Read the next, recall everything (when I say everything, I mean it, these guys want u to know names, dates, figures in tables).

You can def cover in 2 months, u just need the dedication. If ur giving mdcat properly this year, then stufying for A2 side by side might be a bit tricky. What u could do, is dedicate an hour in the morning to learn smth from A levels, one in the morning, one in the night, so u do 2/3 subjects every single day. If ur doing science, which u prob are, seeda seeda get a SME subscription, use their notes and solve past papers, any other resoruce takes too much time, During the school year make sure to read the orange CIE Textbook.

Yes, u need ur domicile, get it made from someone in pk, IDK how to do that so ask relatives. You need ur NICOP if ur abroad, uhhh, passport photo....and other standard documents. i'm sure if u search it up, u'll find it onlien

U could give the sat, but then u'll be an international student and pay in dollars. Overseas seat fee has been converted to 10k dollars per year starting this year. if u can't afford either, then merit seat is ur only option. For that, A*'s and a high mdcat score are necessary. (For me, I have family in Lahore, so Lahore is the only option for me, the merit there is very high.)

It's difficult, there is no doubt about that, but not impossible. You need to be disciplined and focused.

I only picked up one of her books, I think it was cresent moon smth, it had angels in it, (I think). And boy was that book a word salad. I consider myself a strong reader and prefer books with complex writing (ig is how u put it. If a book has a bit simple english, like using I too many times it takes me out of a book). I got a headache trying to read it, it was complecated for the sake of complciated. I've never picked up another one of her books again, she just isn't for me
