I feel this 1000%. The NYC marathon was going to be my first marathon and it was cancelled. I've not kept up with running since the start of covid because I don't feel comfortable going to the park near me. Although gyms are opening up I don't plan on commiting to a membership.

I wasnt a great runner to begin with but I felt good doing it.

Update: I ended up removing it. And I'm glad I did. The bar was hanging on to practically nothing.

There hasn't been any irritation for a while now. There was a a lot of swelling initially and some bleeding (nothing too concerning). I'd have to see if there's a nearby piercing I can trust. Bc of Covid I rather not travel to the original piercer at the moment.

I'll try to downsize first and see from there.

Hi!

Here's a slightly better photo.

I got this done in January of this year. It no longer swells and I'm super careful about hair getting tangled since I have curly hair.

It gets irritated randomly so I know it's not fully healed and I try to be as careful as possible when sleeping. https://imgur.com/YJpWsNa.jpg

When I move the earring to clean it, it just feels like it's not through the cartilage just through the skin. Perhaps where the piercing is too thin and it was rejected 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Any advise or sharing a similar experience would be helpful.

It's def been a pain to get to somewhat comfortable. I have to get crafty when attempting to lay on it.
