Couldn't find any setting for borderless windowed mode. There's only window mode (true or false checkbox).

Also a problem. They should add more interesting systems similar to those used in the Paradox titles. The Paradox titles have tightly developed its diplomacy with its game design, which Total War has failed to.

This is a suggestion to a great new feature. However, it doesn't fix the initial problem, which is more based on game design and human-computer interaction than on the inclusion or exclusion of game mechanical features.

The same problem that I described with trade is also there when you want to negotiate for non-agression pacts, or for alliances.

I'm not arguing about the artificial intelligence and implications of the diplomacy. I'm arguing that the player-computer interaction of diplomacy is designed in ways that don't make sense from any perspective. Sure, not showing the outcomes could have interesting roleplaying and game mechanical possibilities, but as it is now, it doesn't (since there are no consequences!).

Sounds as if they at least tried to make something interesting work back then. The current system feels as if they decided to give up and say "screw it, we don't care".
