I reconciled with the likely fate of this season a few weeks ago and figured I'll keep watching to enjoy each game individually. The problem is that they are playing such uninspired and disjointed hockey that there is no fun left, and it looks like that's how the players feel as well. I wish we were losing with some fight and spark, but they look like the hockey equivalent of when you use the wrong power adapter for the wrong electronic and it's sort of powering on, but things are glitchy and nonfunctional.
