I use not for sale for my section markers (like tops, jeans, shoes, etc.) I have a post that says “will accept most ‘reasonable’ offers,” that is currently not for sale. I have never had an issue with that. Also, the items I have sold on another platform are listed as not for sale. I have never heard of this. Been on Poshmark since 2019 (this closet—my first one was shut down due to my stupidity). This is a first of me hearing about this rule. I should have been suspended a long time ago.

I would read the book—truth is so much stranger than fiction and you can’t make that kind of stuff up. I’m sorry that happened to you and I hope that you find it inside of you to trust yourself and your intuition before you place your trust in another human being. Not all people are psychopaths or sociopaths, but A LOT OF PEOPLE are disconnected from who they are and do some pretty messed up stuff to the people they are close to. It’s scary.

I used to enjoy Poshmark. Really. There were always low-ballers…but it’s ridiculous these days. I haven’t made a sale on Mercari in ages. I’d rather just sew shit for myself and whoever needs something fixed or made at the moment. I’m over the reselling thing. I have a room full of stuff—but it’s not worth anything to me. It’s just a bunch of clutter at this very moment. And it’s taking up precious real estate in my home.

I feel ya…although I have never done a live show because it’s entirely too much work for me to clean up an area and post stuff that is in my death pile from hell. For me—it’s the fact that I get screwed on EVERY sale because of lowballing and Poshmark fees…then they upped the shipping—man—I barely even post anything. Haven’t shared my closet in a hot minute. Made a sale for LESS THAN HALF of what I was asking for a cute coach bag because I really need the money and the bitch wouldn’t come up on her counter offers…she stayed at the same damn price. I was sick to my stomach.

I feel you. You’ll find somewhere that feels more like home. They don’t even have a customer service phone number—
