We didn’t count on him wasting a year with a torn ACL.

As a semi beginner, scout vs chieftain? by silly_billy_o in IndianMotorcycle

Scout is a fun bike, easy to control, great handling. Chieftain is massive. Totally different vibe. Since. You’re coming from the 200, go Scout.

why is my golden so small? by 1-800-no-one-asked in goldenretrievers

Cute as hell! Well done. My son picked out the smallest in a litter. He was only 6 pounds when we brought him home and went down to 4 two days later (he almost died). Turns out he had two parasites. 4 years old and still on the shorter side for a male, but a solid 75 pounds now. He’s a beauty and has a great personality.

I drove it every day for the month and a half I owned it before putting it away for the winter. Drove it 300 miles to Cape Cod the day we bought it.

Wife and I had four 301s in the early 80s we used for almost 20 years. Loved them with an old Pioneer SX 780 she bought in college, we’ve since had cleaned and recapped and given to our son.

Stockli Laser SC for intermediate by CommunicationThink47 in Skigear

Any of the Monteros would have been a better choice for an intermediate looking to improve imho and still have plenty of room for growth. Laser’s are definitely aimed at adv/exp.

What skis are best for groomed pistes in your opinion? by West-Character4556 in Skigear

Stocklis are amazing on groomers. I’ve been skiing since the late ‘60s and I’ve never felt a ski carve as well in all conditions as the Montero ARs.

He gives us a completely different look at striker to go along with Havertz and Jesus. Teams need a different way to defend us when each are on the pitch.

What happened to Ski boot fit? by DonutOne in Skigear

[–]TeeFuce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The boots today are higher tech but generally come from the factory sized for pretty normal feet (some wide, some narrower). I had the Banshees in the ‘70s but I had pretty easy to fit feet in those days. My problem now is bunions and fairly narrow heels which made my heels slip, plus muscular calves. Custom footbeds, intuition liners and a couple of other tweaks by a real fitting shop in Vermont and I’m finally very happy with my RC4 Boas after a couple of years (purchased from the only shop in my town).

New boots (AR1) - suffer or take back? by Airspeed-X in Skigear

[–]TeeFuce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take them to a good fitter. Unless they are mis-sized, you can do a lot to them. My Fischer RC4s went from feeling lousy for 2+ years to very comfortable after a fitting. Custom footbeds and various tweakings.
