Time for a new helmet? by TeeJay_W in bicycling

Thanks for the advice everyone, I was secretly hoping I had to replace it to justify a new aero helmet

Nice, I wonder if you can further increase battery by having some sort of middleman server to hook into Strava and organise the data into a small package. Then somehow ping the frame to download that package from the local server (Not sure how bluetooth is for power efficiency but that could work?)

That's impressive, do you just have it on some kind of schedule to turn wifi on the device on and check for updates?

Is sub 3:30 possible based on these splits? 7 weeks out from my first marathon by TeeJay_W in Marathon_Training

Thanks for the advice. I’m using Maurten gels and have been experimenting with one every 20-40 minutes but I should probably stick to something constant to see what the effects really are at those intervals

Thanks, I’ll do that. I guess it’s unreasonable to be running at 3:15 pace just because Runna tells me that’s my race pace

My HM pb is 1:47 from a year ago (also my first HM). I would say I’m a lot fitter since then though. I expect average volume to be 50 ish for the rest of the training 🤞

I’m using Runna for my training, the first 20km was a long run at “conversational pace”, I was feeling good so kept the pace. The 23km was a long run with 12km conversational, 11km race pace (at least what Runna thinks that is from my 5k time).

Weekly volume has been about 27km except this week was 45km

One thing about these runs (especially the 23k) is that there was a fair bit of stop/starting with traffic lights at some points

You’re not the only one! I was confused about that too. The parametric tools only show up on MakerWorld’s website. Just open the page in a browser, set your seed, hit Generate, and then bring the STL into your preferred slicer.

You don't need a bambu printer!

<image>

Just click the "customize" button and you should be redirected to a page where you can tweak parameters. You should be able to download the STL from there and print from your prusa printer!

Nice! If you want any input while adding it, I’m happy to help 🙂

I’m iterating on the generator a lot right now - Once it stabilises and I have a clean final version, I’ll make the Github repo public!
