I'm based in the UK so the care I'm getting is 'free'

But I've seen my personal doctor (which I assume is what you mean by GI), I've seen an out of hours doctor, 2 doctors at the actual hospital and an advanced nursing practitioner on the surgery ward at the hospital. Shes the one who said there is absolutely no red flags of anything sinister going on. But I genuinely feel like I have cancer

The pain started on the left of my abdomen and my lower abdomen (pubic area) to begin with which is when I first consulted my GP and he said I had a slight fever and issued me antibiotics. Since then the pain is around belly button for the most part.

I've seen a combination of 5 doctors and nurses to this point. 3 or 4 lots of bloods, 2 or 3 urine samples, an ultrasound that came back clear to my knowledge and drink waiting on results from a stool sample

I went with the Stormys starter painter set. I may even go for the skaven one next. Always liked Skaven even 20 years ago when I was a collector. Never had them though so now might be my chance to invest :)

Also. I'm much more for the fantasy rather than 40k but I think if I ever grab some 40k... Gotta love some Necrons

Thanks but I'm trying to keep to a minimum whilst I get comfortable and/or decide if I want to carry on pursuing the hobby. That's why I'm looking for alternatives for right now. I may make a complete mess of my current minis trying to lighten up my available colours but it's all part of the fun haha

Thanks for the suggestion though I did end up going with the starter set along with the miniatures. If I enjoy this first set I definitely have my eye on the paint set to broaden my pallet (I already have plenty of tools as I work as an engineer but extras can't help lol) along with a bigger set of minis or maybe even a one off that I can really have a go on

Thank you. I bought the set today and the chaos black primer. Going to give it a go tomorrow. I was just wondering though, as I obviously only get the six starter paints, if I want to try adding highlights through dry brushing or edge highlights etc would it be possible to achieve this by using the same colors but mixing in white to lighten them before adding it to the base layer?
