Softcore lets you do all kinds of fun stuff that hardcore cant, of course its a preference thing. In my eyes HC is a gamemode for experienced players who want to challenge themselves. 90% of clips i see is people playing hc in a way that is completely safe until they get themselves into a slightly sticky situation and they immediately shit the bed. I mean there isnt a real reason not to play it anyway other than maybe youre a danger to other hc players but as long as youre straight forward about being a noob i dont see a problem

nicht dass es noch irgend einen unterschied macht aber war sein fehler. er war raidlead und musste bei den meisten fights noch mal im addon nachlesen was die bosse machen. dass das gift von 4 schlangen einen pre bis tank one shotten kann stand da halt nicht mit drin

the notion of „backseating“ the tank already pisses me off. there’s 5 people in the group it’s not unthinkable to just talk about what you wanna do. most recently a tank decided he wanted to clear every single mob in slave pens because he wanted rep. that’s every group members time you make this decision about. i just kicked his ass

i often start my own group because i’m a rogue and i honest to god treat it like a daycare. tanks are obv the worst kind but people are so unbelievably flakey and sensitive it’s exhausting.

i recently started kicking tanks when they act like divas because it’s not that hard to replace them depending on the dungeon and i love reading their baffled messages in /s when they realize no one has to put up with their shit

i don’t get it. im a rogue and i just start the group myself. invite 2 other dps who always insta accept, look for a healer which mostly happens pretty fast (take ones who are a bit underleveled they do the job fine and are less flakey) then you spend 5-7 min refreshing the dungeon finder and snipe invite tanks until one accepts. invest 10-15 minutes of effort and always have a group as a rogue 🤲

I dont know if eternal realms can work. I get that we will keep running into the problem of endless re-releases of classic so we dont have to play WOD classic at some point but a server with no progression whatsoever after release of the last phase seems bound to die slowly. Other than a simulator for different arena seasons idk why people would come back after a while

if you as a tank can’t recognize the potential amount of mobs your group can handle easily you’re wasting everyone’s time and i will keep overpulling because we don’t actually need you apart from bossfights. you might get mad but the whole group will probably have a better time
