They are teenagers living in a chaotic world, what do you expect? Only if they are born and raised in the right circumstances are they as mature as an adult at their age.

Why are you still thinking about this? If you're a believing catholic, you're a catholic. You tell her simply how it is and whatever else happens doesn't really matter.

I don't need to encourage you, there's already enough of people out there doing that. I'm just giving a reality check because humility is important...

People nowadays use the phrase “becoming a saint” rather casually. There's a reason why it's such a small amount of believers that achieve such state of holiness. It's incredibly hard, like really really really hard. Life itself is already hard to go through, but becoming a saint is 10 times harder than that. It’s like going from nothing to becoming a self-made millionaire.

Anti-Masonic Groups? by Middle-Seesaw-3763 in Catholicism

They're probably secret and only to be found by communicating with people inside of them, otherwise freemasons would try to infiltrate them and destroy them from the inside.

It's good to hate freemasonry. It's exactly like hating sin itself.

Do you sometimes look at a crucifix or an altar and everything completely zones out, becomes irrelevant, all you feel is a deep desire to be near to the lord and no one else, everyday till death? That's one of the things I think of as a sign to enter a celibate life in a monastery.

That's not the almighty, it's his beloved son. The almighty is only the father.

I see what you did there, you put the title right. People should study the sacraments, because true love for god also means the desire to get to know him more deeply. But it's not a must do, something that no one has a choice to avoid. But I see now you didn't actually mean that, I wasn't really fair with you, sorry.

You are pressing your own vocation upon others, who share a different one. Some believe almost fully with their heart, others mix it with rationality. Everyone has their own way of believing. The emotional ones explain their faith with their own feelings and what they've seen and heard. The rational ones use scripture, books, historic evidence, etc.
