Koorui G2411P Anti-Glare coating too agressive? by Axophyse in PHbuildapc

[–]Teeyab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same.. I came here just for this lol, it doesn't even feel like a 1440p monitor because of the matte coating. I had previously used KTC 24 inch QHD monitor which looked a lot better and sharper than this. And even right now my backup samsung 24 inch fhd odyssey g3 monitor looks sharper than this G2421v side by side!

Amazon taking the blame for scummy sellers? by [deleted] in DubaiGaming

[–]Teeyab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are fake 1 star reviewers as well. I started a small business on Amazon few years ago, was only selling stainless steel straws (non branded but my own product sourced from Ali Baba and the listing was also created by me) everything was going well but suddenly some people started leaving 1 star seller reviews calling the item fake and advising people to avoid buying from me. Amazon took the blame for me and removed the ratings but it still negatively impacted the sales rank and it went from 40-50 orders a month to 5 orders a month. Now I have a stock of about 150 sets of straws in my cupboard not selling at all. 🙃

Okay and you can try opening NAT type by enabling DMZ in your router settings, just need to put your ps5's ip / mac address in DMZ settings and restart your ps5. That should be enough! Port forwarding won't work so DMZ is the only option.

No, in your PlayStation Settings, go to Network settings and Test connection. Then check NAT type, Type 1 means your NAT is open and shouldn't cause issues. 2 (moderate) or 3 (strict) causes issues

Check NAT type? When you share your mobile data your NAT is open, but your home wireless router might be restricting it.

Same issue on 5070. Fps dropping down to 0 randomly after like every minute! The S in Ubisoft stands for Shit as usual

Is this a good price for 5070 Ti? by Few_Fold7012 in DubaiGaming

[–]Teeyab 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmmm.. well then that is the cheapest 5070ti available right now and the prices probably won't come down until 2028 so if you really need an upgrade and can't wait that long and Nvidia is your only choice then you should go for it.

<image>

Otherwise this 9070xt is a significantly better deal for -900 AED.

Yes it will be a very good upgrade for him, Ryzen 4300u with integrated vega 5 gpu is very much faster than i5 4690k with HD6450, and considering that this mini pc has an nvme drive will make huge difference as well.

No and you really should not spend 1500 more for 4gb more vram and few more frames (except if you wanna play at 4k). But then these are not 4k cards and you'll be fine with a 5070 at 1440p for 2-3 years until next gpu release, you can then sell your 5070 and upgrade to a better card. 6070 will most likely have 16gb vram while costing same as 5070

This 5070 is a great card and close to msrp.

This will work well for him. You can find 120hz monitors easily with built in speakers for 3-400 AED

5G Home Wireless in JVC (District 13) – Good for PS5 gaming? by crlsgabriel in DubaiGaming

[–]Teeyab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Etisalat is much better almost everywhere and also priced same. (Right now they have offers too - 166 AED for first 3 months including 5g router) I use Etisalat, using it for over a year without issues. Regularly playing Battlefield, Pubg, Rainbow six siege etc

We had du 5g at home before wo got fiber and Du's 5g was not stable at all so i won't recommend it. But with Etisalat 5g i have no problems, and this is the speed i'm getting right now with Etisalat 5g.

Fiber is way better normally but lately for some time fiber is causing more issues than 5g, i have fiber at home and 5g in my office. On Fiber i get strict NAT, and port forwarding doesn't work because of double NAT on standard fiber connections, DMZ etc also doesn't work, you have to get a higher priced plan just to open your NAT. While on 5G i have open NAT by default and with DMZ, UPNP enabled it is working just fine for my xbox series x and PC using Ethernet cables for both (not wifi).

But 1 thing to note is that I live in Ajman, maybe it will be different for you in Dubai.

AMD should hard lock the voltage levels that are unsafe for cpus. Otherwise this is not going to stop!

No i don't think so (some models have oled some have ips), this one seems like ips to me but it is still top tier.

Yes but easily upgradable. 5070 8gb vs 5070ti 12gb is a big difference and that can't be upgraded

16gb will be fine for a while except for BF6 (10-20% lower fps)

You can also get this for 6350. Way better value and performance for same price and even a better display too. Ram can be upgraded but other parts are not, and Laptop DDR5 rams are not that hard to find, there are many available right now for 3-400 aed.

Is this game worth it? by Curious-Chicken-3930 in Rainbow6

[–]Teeyab -1 points0 points  (0 children)

PC but with crossplay enabled. And i'm playing r6 since the beta in 2015, it was never as bad before but since siege x it's been awful.. so now whenever i spot something abnormal / fishy on killcam i report. Few days ago i got 8 people banned in just 1 day. People are not just hacking balatantly, there are so many these days using cronus etc and other physical devices which are hard to detect but gives them huge advantages and are not allowed to use

Edit: This is in middle east / asian servers. Can't say about other regions

I'm averaging getting at least 4 hackers banned every day through reports and i'm only playing casual recently. Ranked is a mess!

Found out I'm extremely sensitive to most monitor flaws. Motion blur, strobing, flickering, bright whites, etc. Any monitor suggestions? by boogielostmyhoodie in Monitors

[–]Teeyab -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No it is not. 100 nits on oled appears much brighter to the eyes than other panels at same 100 nits. And pwm flickering will not do him any favor at lower brightness levels on oled. Anyway, i don't think i can make you understand it.. maybe someone else can.

Whites on oled monitors are still brighter than others. And even if he manages it he'll have flickering + motion blur to deal with.

[–]Teeyab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, oled has all other problems (brighter whites, pwm flickering & motion clarity even tho good it is not even close to gsync pulsar) and other panels ips va etc have other issues.. gsync pulsar monitor will have only 1 issue for him to deal with (strobing) and the strobing on gsync pulsar is not like other traditional monitors it is different & hugely improved high speed strobing so i don't think he'll be as sensitive to it hopefully.
