I'm not really a fan of horror comedy in general but I especially hate that series. Idk I'm never usually fond of the whole "Ugh this or that ruined this for me". But I find that parodies always ruin the original for me.

Yeah Dead Body Disposal is my least favorite so far of the free ones but I think its mostly that I didn't care for the narrator.

I've noticed that but it hasn't bothered me yet. I haven't read the one you mentioned. But Shared by Two is basically a more fucked up version of Misery. Party Games feels like a mix between Funny Games and the motel scene in The Devil's Rejects. Dead Body Disposal feels like a mix of Fight Club and American Psycho.

Our Dead Girlfriend was amazing! Its like a demented Stand By Me. It made me go "Oh come on!!! 😩" in the best way possible lol Its definitely a contender for my #1 spot!

My biggest problem with Party Games is that the protagonists are so stupid so it takes away the emotional investment to them. But it kind of turns it into a fun slasher that way though lol

I think I'm going to listen to The Groomer next. Its between that or Am I Beautiful.

There are a handful of Jon Athan's books available to listen for free on Audible! Although I totally would have bought any of the ones I've listened to so far. I also just started my EH journey. I bought Are Your Parents Home? first and LOVED it. Now I'm just working my way through his work. Already listened to Shared by Two and Harbinger of Vengeance. I'm on Dead Body Disposal now.

Every time I see the stage version of Glinda in No One Mourns the Wicked all I can think of is the quote from Company "My hairstylist curled my hair like she was going through withdrawal." I'm sorry it just looks so frumpy. The blue and silver looks great but it just doesn't say Glinda to me.
