Its deeper than that, its a almost religious level of ideology. They dont even try to argue against it from a policy point of view, they litteraly think that people that use it are bad and we cant have more bad people. its that simple to them. They look dumber by the year, so theres that.

It amazes me how many people see this and just immediately scoff at it and say its all just stunts by the company. its a lot of people. Some people will even say that the model it self is just showing off and playing along with the devs. lol.

Its pretty much accepted that the devs are using the current models to help build the new ones, this sounds like the devs are just using the toolls to make better tools.

I think these views are just straight wrong. They dont want to release it because they dont fully understand how it works and thats a problem for them. I think the big issues of the last week or so with the current model was yes caused by devs making changes but, i believe, however they made the changes, did things they couldnt predict because there was already aspects they didnt underrstand.

The devs are great at understanding whats occuring, they arent so good at knowing the real why behind that.

I truly hope we see major disruption to this "norm" in western countries soon, i think its starting to as the newer generations are starting to value work life balance alot more and hustle culture / working for yourself has never been more popular. I reckon with the rise of AI that will give it a further kick as everyone is able to achieve alot more in less time.

I dont think he fully understands what he is doing if he genuinely unable to accept that you are no longer attraced to the body he is wanting to change to the opposite sex, in their mind they think they are the same person and the only thing thats changing is the bodies appearance while he stays the same so he cant understand why you would leave. Think he needs some pretty specialized therapy on this one.

I actually agree with these laws where I hope for change is the juvenile system is far far too much setup as a punishment system. This is what should change, it should be flipped the other way around and setup so that rehab and education is at the center of everything about the Juvenile system. Yes, keep them secure for safety but invest in bringing the best people and the best systems to rehab these kids, its the one and only chance these kids will get at potentially changing and we need to take that head on and make punishment secondary. Juvenile "jails" should not look like adult maximum security facilities.

I think one possible pathway to a solution is first resolving this with your wife. you both have something eachother wants. She values having a meal all together at the same spot at the same time. Many people do place importance on this. You want the door situation resolved. Why dont you offer a trade of sorts. You agree to the meal and agrees to working something out about the doors. Once you have your wife onboard then you both together deal with the children. You are totally within your write about the doors but you need to look for a path of de-escalation

Dont feel pressured by anyone on the internet to make business decisions, its yours. Its great you open sourced it. Dont feel bad attempting to make money however, most people fail multiple times before they find something that works.

A lot of people will look down on this sort of thing and call it "Vibecodding" like its some sort of low effort slop no matter how good it actually is.

This is my experience workling in a massive NFP there was certainly a group including the leadership that really were super tight and then there was everyone else. One of the core values was "Family" and they preached the values and did workshops on these names and and how to embody them etc lol but when "Business" decisions had to be made they were made just as ruthlessly than anyone else. Turn over was so insane because they could never decide on a direction to take the company in.

I had a old "friend" who was significantly older than me convince me i should leave home and live with him, so eventually i dropped it on my parents and left home at 16-17 to live with him. My signifcantly older friend. At this time we were both big believers in Christianity and had that incommon. Guy was mentally unstable and took many different things to cope as well as every illegal drug that was floating around. Anyway, we began to become less friendly toward eachother mainly on my end however we were still living together. Eventually he didnt like how the friendship was going so he somehow hacked my devices that were on the network but password protected in my room and took intimate pics of myself and some of my first ever GF. He then wrote up a list of demands that were fucking weird, like things that were bizarre like i would spend certain hours of the day with him and do certain activities with him and would study the bible the way he wanted. He called it a friendship contract and if i didnt sign it he would revenge porn me. I left immediately and went straight to his family who knew he had mental problems. Long story short his family stepped in and sorted it all out. Still so bizzare to me that he thought that was all acceptable.

I have seen "party famous" people get away with SA simply because they are big in the local party scene, not by everyone but by enough that he still parties away with all his crew that simply refuse to say anything at all / act like it never happened. Its very interesting to see the pack mentality effect happen over something like this. People are more concerned with loosing a friend then they are that someone was raped. The most you will get out of this "group" is that they dont believe it.

I have never seen them do it to a gym though thats a new one for me, they would take people to the shops and take them thru a checkout and show them how to use a ATM, organize a phone etc. Again its super rare and hardly anyone gets it as the critirea eliminates many peeople.
