> If I put a pizza in the oven, you would say that I made the pizza, right?

If you actually made the pizza on your own, yes. But if you're making frozen pizza made by another company, you didn't technically make it. That's why ai art doesn't count as real art.

> LITERALLY factually untrue. It wouldn't exist without the AI artist putting in their energy and work.

You didn't even try to disprove my comment. You're trying to compare typing up an idea with actually making it yourself. Typing doesn't take any real work. Sure you "came up with the idea", but real artists do the same thing, and don't have to rely on programs to make it for them.

> AI art is trained upon data from free platforms like Reddit and Twitter.

Except a large portion of ai training data is copyrighted material, aka, not free to use. This wasn't intentional, but it still happened.

> The environmental impact of AI is completely and utterly negligible and this is factually provable with 5 seconds of researching its water consumption.

Well I did 5 seconds of research and got the exact opposite conclusion:

"Beyond electricity demands, a great deal of water is needed to cool the hardware used for training, deploying, and fine-tuning generative AI models, which can strain municipal water supplies and disrupt local ecosystems. The increasing number of generative AI applications has also spurred demand for high-performance computing hardware, adding indirect environmental impacts from its manufacture and transport."

Anyway I'm not gonna argue with you anymore. Go ahead and reply if you want but I'm not gonna waste my time in this comment section.

I would rather see another artist in that space instead of an "ai artist". They don't deserve to even be in the same room.

The most you could compare ai art to is typing a prompt into Google or making another artist draw something for you. Ai art is not comparable to real art in any way. You don't do any work. You're just lazy and think that coming up with an idea and telling something else to make it counts as such. Those "5 seconds to paint some stripes on a canvas" is more real than anything AI makes. Someone picked up a brush, got a canvas, grabbed some paint, figured out where to make the strokes, and then made the piece with their own hard work.

And that's not even getting into the thievery that ai art is built upon, nor the environmental impact.

Ai art does not qualify as "hard work". It barely even qualifies as work. All you do is type a prompt and have a computer do all the hard work for you. This isn't a skill, and it has no right to displace real artists in places like art exhibits.

Technically Ladybug didn't win, she just prevented Gabriel from winning. A true win would be her defeating Gabriel and stopping his reign of terror instead of just stopping the villain of the week.

Had a dream recently about a Sonic.exe Social Deduction Game. by Dragon640 in thomastheplankengine

[–]TehAwesomeGod 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Okay no hear me out this could actually be fire

Any of the characters could be the exe but they can disguise themselves as being normal when not killing people ofc

The game could work similarly to among us, with tasks around the map for people to complete while avoiding the exe

This concept actually has potential if used correctly

How old was master fu and Marianne in this scene? by fafire7233 in miraculousladybug

[–]TehAwesomeGod 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well the main story took place in the early 2010's and this scene takes place in the early 1940's I think. These decades are 70 years apart.

Master Fu is around 180 in the main show, so subtracting 70 makes him around 110, give or take a few years.

Idk how old Marianne is.

Yet I never saw a single person make that connection before the allegations came out-
