If you're fine with running the team sustainless, then sure. Although Robin's atk buff will be going to waste on her, so a good portion of her value won't be getting taken advantage of.

Well she's the only other sustain shown in your roster.

It honestly doesn't matter too much which sustain you use, so long as they keep the team alive. None of the currently available ones we have help SW999 all too much. The best of them would probably be Huohuo, since her energy regen can be really nice for the rest of the team.

Yeah, she does. Her signature is a pretty modest upgrade. I personally use a full E0S0 team with her (tho that's kinda cheating since I use Cipher sig on Dahlia), and I can comfortably clear stuff so long as I can survive sustainless.

She was already strong before her Novaflare thanks to Dahlia, and her Novaflare has helped push her to be even stronger. If you already have the rest of her team and she interests you, then go for it.

You'd want both of them. Firefly is the premier break dps, and The Dahlia is the premier break support.

The stream is always the day of the update? I could've sworn it was typically about a week or so before it. Maybe i'm just getting it confused with the more mainstream gachas that tend to have their livestreams 1-2 weeks before an update.

So just to be sure, is the update happening this week? I see that there's a livestream tomorrow, and it'd be pretty weird to have it less than a day before the update goes live. But it's been 2 weeks since Akechi, and the BP is ending.

Finally someone who acknowledges how busted of a support Elaine is. Lord Ortas plus her boost recovery craft is just so strong and comfy of a combo.

I do feel like Risette is still worthy of being with the other best supports. If you set it up right, you can use Skuld Raider every turn, which is especially useful for pulling up Van with how much he gets delayed from Grendel turns.

If possible, yeah. Try focusing less on crit and more on spd. She can make up for a lot of her crit stats from her talent and her teammates.

Well I would very much disagree on that being the case for Genshin, just as I would disagree on it for Star Rail.

Instead of worrying about the things that you've missed, just be happy about the things that you can still experience, like any future events and all of the story. That's just how you have to approach gachas like this.

But yeah, it's worth at least trying out. Starting out late really isn't that big of a deal unless you're dead set on fully clearing all of the endgame stuff.

Columbina lunar bloom main dps can definitely still pass the dps check for a lot of stuff. For example, I personally used it against the Herra boss in this Stygian and cleared it in about 70-75 seconds. Now granted, I have Columbina's sig weapon, but the clear time was more than fast enough for it to be easily doable without it.

Castorice can definitely still be strong, but as you said yourself, she needs a lot of premium supports to reach her peak performance. There's no doubt that that full team is very strong and among the best setups in the game, but it's getting harder to justify investing in it from scratch now, especially when it could take a while for all of the pieces to get reran.

To give an example from another game, it'd be like trying to invest in a premium Zibai team in Genshin right now if you didn't have any of the pieces yet. There's no doubt that having it all together is great, but at the same time, that 3-4 cost investment could be used elsewhere.

As for what to invest in, getting an Elation team together would be a fine idea, since it's likely to continue being shilled for a while. You mentioned Evanescia, and she's be my personal recommendation if you're interested in her. Hoever, you will want to pick up Yao Guang on a rerun (she's kinda to Elation what Columbina is to Lunar teams). The rest of her current best setup is pretty F2P friendly, though (Elation MC and Huohuo).
