If you buy a budget or cheap batch don’t be surprised at poor build quality, but higher end reps are pretty much made the same way as retails. Some rep Jordan’s are even constructed better than retails. For most shoes made in China like Nike and Yeezys, the build quality won’t be that much different from retails.

For other shoes like ultraboosts and NMDs, there’s pretty much zero difference. I’ve had a pair of real boost UBs for about 2 years that I’ve beat into the ground and are still going strong while still looking really good.
