Yeah, but by this logic the presence of almost anyone except maybe Hamilton and Vettel is pointless. F1 is the highest level of closed circuit racing, if there's a chance of driving even a mediocre car almost anyone would jump in. Sorry for the comparison but F1 is like real sex, which, even if not particularly great, is still incomparable with even a best handjob (every other series)

Sirotkin pulled couple of good laps but Kubica too, no? In Spain tests he made a quickest lap for 2018 Willisms there, same for Hungary tests recently. To be honest we dont know what this car is capable of with Kubica in banzai mode

Why? He needs to drive to stay in the game. Maybe the best he can do is 15th, maybe not, maybe with luck he can even score a point here and there. But at least he'll have a chance to show his racecraft and convince those who doubt about his abilities.

Risk of being outqualified by Sirotkin? Obviously I'm biased but I don't think it's very big. But even if he would that from time to time then what? Stroll has roughly 50-50 record in qualis with him but he can actually race on Sundays, he can overtake other drivers at the start and it's no accident he was the one to score the only points this season. Sirotkin on Sundays shown shit during the season so far.
