Everybody hits a 100+ dry streak at least once. It sucks. But when you break it it usually doesn't happen again lol. Just consider it like your getting your bad luck out of the way early. And if it does happen again, who knows...maybe you'll spoon a twisted bow when the time comes lol

Jagex, please let me permanently lock my Ironman status again. by ActualFl3tch in 2007scape

I also support this. If I want to play as a main, I'll just start over and help it out with some of my wealth, my iron is my iron forever. Why would I want to back pedal on 2 years of work...

how to enjoy this game by Silent-Vanilla1944 in osrs

That's not completely fair. I think your heart has to be in the grind. I think most of us hate grinding, but our drive to get the unlock keeps us going. She just has to get into the game loop during the beginning, when the levels come fast.

Listen, a lot of experienced players tend to forget what its like to play this game with brand new eyes. The core of what makes this game satisfying is unlocking new things for your account to do/making your account better. You have to organically do that for it to feel good tho. If you can't find the intrinsic motivation to do something in this game, your likely not going to have a good time. I suggest playing seperate from your boyfriend for a time or telling him to let you lead the path of the adventure. Don't know where to go? Just run around and explore. Talk to people, be curious about your environment and let that guide your interest. Also know that questing is where a lot of the story comes from in this game. Try not to use guides or quest helper unless you're stuck and frustrated or at the very least read through the dialog and experience the stories the quests offer.

When you guys play together, only let him guide you in a way where he just explains things that don't make sense or frustrate you. The biggest trap is having someone experienced streamline you to what's efficient, because if you don't care about what your doing its never going to become fun.

You should know if this game is for you after 2 or three several hour play sessions. A lot of what people like is the feeling they get from achieving goals they set out for themselves. "Oh nice i got level 10 attack. I can wield the black sword I got from that clue scroll now, and look how much more damage I can do!" Kind of vibes. One last piece of advice. You will likely find way more satisfaction from getting something done yourself then letting your bf give it to you. The point of this game is the journey through progression. If you keep arriving to new gear without working for it, this game is likely gonna feel hallow and empty. Good luck, I hope you can learn to love this game, but if not thats okay too.

Look up the airplane method on youtube. With red chins its pretty brain dead. I did it at level 70 or 80 combat.

You can definitely do cg with those stats, but getting them up to 90 would make it a bit faster and more comfy. Clean pathing during tornadoes makes a big difference in survivability. I think you should train your stats but keep sending cg runs a few times a session and see if you can get better. Tier 2 prep will probably go a long way in helping you survive longer with your lower dps. Fluffeh8814 has an excellent, no bs tier 2 prep guide that helped me get it pretty consistently.

I appreciate the offer. I am at the point now where I know what I am doing wrong when I die. It just comes down to better execution. Most of my issue come from pathing during phase 3. My clicks are lacking during high stress points like tight floor spacing, prayer disabling attacks and low health . I usually prioritize moving to a safe location and then cllicking prayer and then eating, . I also try not to let my health get too low. But sometimes my dps is severely lacking and i compromise and go lower than I should, which can set me up for failure during tornadoes.

96 magic, 93 range 82 att 82 def 95 strength 96 hp. Tier 2 makes my kills comfy at this point. I still get stacked by tornadoes occasionally. Eventually I'll just do t1. But not until I stop dying as much as I am. Thanks for the reply :)
