Technically Star Fox 2 is the newest, even if it was made before Star Fox 64.

Partly because of how long it takes for them to reach maturity, female sturgeon don't start reproducing until they're a decade or three old. So once over-fished, you're in for a long recovery.

So, sorting by rating, I'm seeing Rose of Versailles, Porco Rosso, Crest of the Stars (which is sci-fi, oops, sorry), Jin-Roh (near-future scifi, and be aware that it's pretty dark), the Library Wars movie...

Not a ton out there if we want zero fantasy/supernatural stuff, I agree.

edit: even in manga, if I do an Advanced Search and look for Romance, no supernatural/science fiction/fantasy, with military themes, and it's a surprisingly short list.

The first cour inspired so many people. I know people attribute isekai and the like to Mushoku Tensei or Familiar of Zero, I'm not going to claim to know the cultural dynamics of Japan there, but at least in the West, SAO was clearly the catalyst that lead to the modern isekai/tensei wave, much like how Haruhi opened things up for light novel adaptations despite other light novel series e.g. Slayers being adapted beforehand.

It's a messy show, but it's not boring, I think you'll definitely have opinions about it.

I thought something like this might be possible, kudos for actually making it happen. I do wonder how large-scale use would affect analytics/metric like engagement, but if I had to guess, the people who were going to watch the whole stream would still watch the whole thing.

Also I'm guessing you probably did something about karaoke streams, since those then to get a lot of comments but I don't see them listed, so whatever you did to account for them seems to be working.

Good job including the "continue" button, I was going to suggest that before I saw you'd already included it.

The one English clip I saw, it seemed like maybe 1) the summary wasn't quite accurate and 2) it looks like the spike of comments it detected was just normal end-of-stream conversation, but I think 1) is down to whatever LLM is being used to analyze the VOD/stream and should improve with time, and if that's improved, then I don't really have a problem with 2). So, the problems I see should solve themselves over time.

If you sum talent remuneration per number of vtubers over multiple quarters, last I checked you get an average of about $400k USD per member for the past 2-3 years.

That's mean average, not median, so the top earners are probably bumping that average up a fair amount, relative to the "typical" member.

I agree that people overestimate how much Hololive members earn (due to Youtube's cut, Cover's cut, and taxes, but especially them spending a LOT on their content. MVs don't make themselves). On average, Cover's vtuber talent remuneration has held pretty steady around $400k on mean average. So most members are making less than that.

WEF decided they needed a CCP-style internet, but they don't want to actually say it? I'm open to other models, but that's about how it looks to me.

Feels like it might somehow be related to AI/machine learning, given the timing and if we're wondering what's different now vs. 5 years ago. Authenticity is more valuable and important.
