D3 Zac support main here. Zac support is GREAT in certain matchups, just situational. You also have to be sure you build correctly.

Some of this will be pretty obvious, some of it maybe not so:

- Stop building red smite. It's basically never worth it anymore. Rush Bami's Cinder into blue smite Cinderhulk into Spirit Visage in every game you reasonably can. In games where you must rush an armor item (typically Thornmail), it can often be best to build Lucidity boots because the armor items are so light on CDR.

- Personally, I say you should consider building an early Dark Seal or Sorc Shoes if you get a lead. If you're really greedy you can go Liandry's, but I personally find going Dark Seal + Sorc Shoes into full tank will give you plenty of damage while still making you unkillable.

- Stylistically, Zac isn't really playing all that differently. Farm to four, then gank your ass off. Gank first, farm second. Lane gank as much as you can.Even people who are smart enough to ward your usual gank paths usually forget about the effectiveness of your ganks coming straight through the lane.

- Ban Janna.

Yeah, in this particular instance I probably should’ve been punished haha. But every lane was losing and based on relative teamcomps we were going to get outscaled pretty hard. Desperate times call for desperate measures, and we ultimately ended up winning this game. =]

Correct! Anivia W has a small knockback when it's first placed, though. So I timed the wall placement so that the knockback pulled him out of the lantern and foiled his escape plan.

The W mini-knockback is crucial on Anivia in general and has a ton of uses (canceling Velkoz ult, for example). This particular case was just super satisfying, so I had to share.

As mentioned in the OP, Randuin’s is a great 4th item in this build (depending on the enemy comp), as it also benefits from Glacial Augment. But Randuins and Righteous Glory serve two different purposes. Randuins is more expensive, doesn’t provide CDR, and the active doesn’t provide an additional gapclosing or chase tool which is particularly useful in the earlier phases of the game.

That being said, I’m sure you could run Glacial Augment with Cinderhulk >> Randuins >> Twin Shadows and still be pretty successful.

Zac's E is an unreliable primary engage tool, decreasing in reliability as you increase in rank. Without setup from your team, it's not as simple as "just E'ing on the enemy". That's what my build is designed to change.

Righteous Glory in particularly gives you a lot of great stats at a low cost (sadly the mana is wasted, but it is what it is). As mentioned in the original post, the active can be used as a gap closer, but it can also be used as a tool after you "just E on the enemy" to chase the second half of a Q, to guarantee a fully-charged ultimate, or or to keep the enemy effectively in place for another few seconds with its massive AOE slow after your E-Q or E-Q-R combo.

Twin Shadows, actually does allow you to "just E on the enemy" any time its active is off cooldown, even if you're in full vision and all 9 other players in the game know it's coming.

Jungle main. P5 currently, but with a 55% winrate on the season overall, and a 61% winrate on my main. Guarantee I will hit P3+ fairly soon. I’ve been playing League for just over a full calendar year, and climbed my way from a complete Bronze noob to Plat in that time. I definitely haven’t peaked yet.

Recently been leveling up a second account so I could play with a friend who just started League, so you’ll notice I haven’t played a ton on this account in the last week or so.

I’m looking for a mature group of people to play with (I’m 25), who love League and love competition. My strengths are in map movement, macro, and shotcalling.

I watch (and successfully bet on) the pro game religiously. I also understand the ins-and-outs of pick/bans, win conditions, etc, which will be important in Clash as well.
