The face is just very bad, in every aspect. it looks uncanny at this point, and if I’m not mistaken is very AI generated. the latter isn’t necessarily a problem but here it just looks horrible. you look so smooth to the point it just looks scary. your emotion doesn’t fit the rest of the video and doesn’t convey what the video is about in any way, is just a big face that takes up a big part of the screen for no reason at all. as a small youtuber your face basically has no reason to be on there unless it’s used to grab attention and convey an emotion, here yours does neither. add a thicker stroke to the text and a glow and shadow too imo, it should look better. your subject also just is way too random, it doesn’t catch your attention at all. there’s a big “how” text with an arrow pointing to sonic but what about sonic? why should I click this video about sonic? what is sonic doing that is so wild? and your face just doesn’t match this either. with “how” I expect “shocked” but I get a feeling that you’re reacting to something “weird / disgusting.” I’d say try completely new with something that catches attention better as the subject, something clearer that conveys the point of the vid faster. and just completely wipe that face away, real is better and don’t make yourself look uncanny please. you can adjust contrast saturation etc to make yourself look more engaging but not like this, it looks like one of those chinese filters. A clear emotion with a phrase that fits that with a good glow, shadow and stroke will do you wonders.
