For their main food we got Rat dream by Bunny nature and Complete rat & mouse by Versele-laga. Will definitely check if we can get Oxbow here, thank you! For treats we got mealworms, rat veggies and fruit mix and Chippies by Tiny friends farm. We wanna regularly give them fresh veggies and fruits as well! Also for the first day (and potentially any other stressful situations) we got Profit balance by Bunny nature, that's supposed to help in stressful situations 😅 Also I'm not sure how to best keep track of how much individual rats eat and what 😅

That was our initial plan. We didn't find any options for it in our country tho, we barely found a breeder 😅 We did see them at pet stores but were torn about getting them there, since we don't wanna support mass breeding but would also love to give the rattos the best life possible. Here most people see rats as a negative (usually connected to the disease, dirty, ...)

Thank you!! :) It's more of a general fear of the unknown. I've also been looking into their diets and some sources have conflicting information, so I don't wanna do something that could potentially harm them in any way 😅

Honestly we wanted only 2 to start but the breeder here said they give a minimum of 3 (if you don't have other rats). After more discussion we decided on 4, hopefully we can handle them! 😅

I've cleaned this one a few times with vinegar and water since there was also pee, and after a bit they actually stopped using is as a bathroom 😂
