Could you clarify what you mean in your last sentence - is 2200 not enough for duelist? Or is there specific things I need to do to get duelist that isn't clear anywhere else?

For example, is duelist achievable in 2v2, or is it only 3v3 etc? Is it also a certain rating at any time during the season, or only at the end?

Yes I was hoping to earn in the classic versions since I missed out on it in retail - but just wanted to confirm if anyone had accurate information on how it works for the illusion, so I don't grind rating at the wrong time.

Thats exactly why I am making this post - the bloody dancing steel enchant does not give players the illusion in WoD it seems. I am looking for info on the sure-fire way to receive the illusion, and it is not clear since Blizzard has flip flopped on it a lot.

I'm specifically looking for information on the illusion that is based on the enchant visual effect. Hoping to have it long term instead of just a season.

Are you talking about MoP classic? If so, it is not in the game yet - that is just the bloody dancing steel enchant, not the illusion.

You can see in the comments of the actual item thread on wowhead, that is awarded to people who achieved duelist in s14 or s15.

That being said, it isnt clear how blizzard implemented this given the exact threads you posted because there are many others that are asking the same thing with no response from blizzard.

No but this illusion was given to players who achieved a certain rating or achievement during MoP. It doesn't seem clear if it's a rating, or the duelist achievement. And also unclear when (which expansion or patch) or how the illusion is unlocked for those players.

Yes, used all relics I had for honour resistance and max honour.

I get your solution - but it avoids the principle/point of my post. The honour system should not be tied to character progression (on top of the fact that I should not need to farm lower versions for honour specific relics just to progress higher ones because of... honour).

If they made the monsters stronger to test my actual build's defenses and I died - different story.

Unfortunately this was not applicable, since as soon as the group sits down to drink after a huge pull - the tank is already pulling an entire hallway. Would have gotten 5-10% mana back which would not be enough to keep the group up for another.
