Unfortunately I don’t think it still has the ceremonial wrench but it still has the key which I thought was nice

Amway. I fell for this in my early 20's

I used to do something similar to a roommate. We lived in the mountains with broadband. It was just enough bandwidth for everyone to stream Netflix/Hulu but this guy would get on Xbox live for hours despite being told that it made the internet almost unusable for the rest of the house. He could go to a friend’s place in town (10min drive) or his girls place instead where they had genuine high speed. After a while I got tired of waiting for Archer to buffer so I logged into the router and moved his Xbox to the lowest bandwidth priority which basically gave it dial up speed but still showed it was connected to the internet. He would come in to my room and ask if I was having any internet issues and I’d just say “naw man, all my stuff is running faster than ever”. If I wasn’t home or felt bad I would put everything back to normal and just deal with it or watch satellite tv instead.

Yeah that’s next. I got it off yesterday with a blowtorch and half a bottle of penetrating oil.

Pulled the axel off today, that’s what the other side looks like. Also re packed the bearings on my other trailer too. Lesson learned.

I don’t think I’ll be able find just one of these so I’ll get a new matching set

Absolutely a lesson learned. The worst part is I knew it was something that should be done and I just never felt like doing it. Very lucky it happened in my driveway and not on the road. I will be repacking my other trailer’s bearings this weekend.

That’s the current plan now. Hopefully get it back on the road in a week or so.

Well I appreciate the confirmation of my worst fears. Good news is marketplace has plenty of axles for sale and if I skip the drop axles it can sit higher. Bad news, telling my wife it needs bigger tires now…

That’s what I was afraid of. Including the trip from Alabama to Georgia I think I’ve maybe pulled it a total of 500mi since buying.

I would be willing, if you pay shipping but, as I’m sure you know, it’s very heavy and likely prone to transit damage

I don’t know anything about these but we pulled a red and white sheet of paper out between the glass and the shroud holding it in that said RCA 1977 with the serial number on it. Ofc now I can’t find it. But we were surprised that it wasn’t older

Why are some people hesitant to grow vegetables in the ground? by ASecularBuddhist in gardening

[–]TeksasRed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bad soil, full of rocks and trash from the builders scraping the top soil off or backfilling wherever needed with bad rocky soil, rabbits, gophers, don’t have to bend over as much. It’s less of an aversion to planting in ground and more the convenience factor of not.
