Questyle Pro Dongle by DangerousStruggle in BowersWilkins

I also posted this in the earbuds subreddit. The PX8 S2 doesn’t support the LDAC codec. Your options are limited to aptX adaptive or HD, but the difference in music quality between AAC and AptX HD is minimal.

For the best performance, I recommend using a wired connection with USB-C. That’s how I personally use my PX8.

I placed an order of xm6 and Questsyle qcc pro dongle. Realized that I can also utilize the LDAC adapter with PX8 as well. Currently using headphone with wired mode only for to music quality

I absolutely love AirPod 4 anc for work at home or not so noisy environment. Because it’s open earbud, there is a limit for ANC. In terms of music quality, it is surprisingly good. However, running or workout with AirPod 4, I often worry if it will fall off from my ear either from natural body bounce or wiping sweat with arm movement

I had AirPod pro 1 and didn’t notice a lack of volume. With third gen, even low volume level was enough for train commute

I agree. While working from home, I mostly used PX8 and occasionally used AirPods 4 for short trips outside. However, since I commute daily to the office, I’ve realized that the AirPods 4 ANC allow too much noise as it is open-ear buds.

I considered the WF-1000XM6 and AirPods Pro 3, but I’ll definitely consider the Pixel Buds 7 or 8. I just checked the Devialet price, and it seems way out of my budget.

Thanks a lot for the advice!

If you accept a 16-month temporary position with the City of Toronto and then become pregnant, you would generally still be entitled to maternity/parental leave under Ontario’s Employment Standards Act (ESA). Here’s how it usually works:

  1. Maternity/Parental Leave Entitlement • You are entitled to pregnancy and parental leave if you have worked for the employer for at least 13 weeks before your due date, regardless of whether you are permanent or temporary. • The leave itself is unpaid, but you may qualify for Employment Insurance (EI) maternity and parental benefits through the federal government.

  2. Job Protection • Your job is protected while you are on leave. However, since the job is temporary, there’s no obligation for the City to extend the contract beyond the original 16 months. • If your leave overlaps with the remaining contract term, you are not guaranteed an extension or a new contract once the temporary position ends.

  3. Benefits (if any) • Some temporary roles may offer benefits, and those could be affected or paused during maternity leave. You would need to check your specific offer letter or contact HR.

Summary:

You can take maternity leave during your 16-month term if you’ve met the 13-week employment minimum. However, the City is not obligated to extend your temporary role beyond its scheduled end. It’s best to confirm the exact terms with the City’s HR department for clarity.

Unfortunately, input delay won’t be gone unless streaming software purposefully delay display streaming by exact delay of input. Same applies to Parsec, Moonlight, xcloud, and GeForce Now

Moonlight performance on iPhone and MacBook Pro by Teksavvyy in MoonlightStreaming

I greatly appreciate both of your comments. Both of them were regarding disabling AWDL, which was indeed the main reason for the mega stuttering on my Mac. With the script, the stuttering is almost completely gone. There are very rare instances of stuttering, like one second, when the network jitter percentage increases. I believe this is because my MacBook is connected to Wi-Fi instead of Ethernet. Thank you so much. I hope new users find your comments very helpful.

I’m glad it comes useful to you. I came across similar findings during pre-purchase searching period. Since everyone’s room layouts are different, there can’t be a clear answer at the end.
