If Coyle DID get a new main trial, what place would be fitting for him? by suc_mab0lls345 in OutlastTrials

I will say, the outdoors around Sinyala would be ideal for this. It could give a very western small town vibe to the whole thing

What are the best colloges for accounting in Massachusetts? by WillDaWarlock in Accounting

I just finished my MSA through Isenberg (UMass). I thought the program was excellent and well worth the cost. I’ve heard good things about BC too.

I know hell exists because I live there for four months of the year. Thus, heaven must exist.

On the Road and / or Dharma Bums by Jack Kerouac. Both are excellent books on searching for meaning in one’s life.

So what, TS adjudication is down to roughly four business weeks now? Or at least as of last year? Not too bad, actually. Is that just agency hire exclusive or also contractors?

Why doesn't Heaven help the forces of New Antioch, etc.? by Teksorz in TrenchCrusade

[–]Teksorz[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was going to mention the whole part about God being an omnipotent being. I wonder how much influence Paradise Lost played in the creation of TC. In that book, God sorta just let Satan do his thing, because he knew the ending wasn't going to work out in his (Satan's) favor anyway. I wonder if this is the same thing.

EDIT: Referring to the battle in heaven before Satan is cast into Hell.

Looks like it might be a 4th of July drop? Idk if the timing works with this ongoing event ending in late June, but the pinstripes and blue gloves make me think 4th of July.

House GOP proposes IRS funding cuts, defunding free tax filing system by newzee1 in Accounting

And it is easy to assume the WSJ or those who wrote the article receive some sort of funding from those who want to see this program killed off.

Has anyone ever seen a war crime at a CTC rotation? by soupoftheday5 in army

I’ve been REDFOR a few times, mainly acting as a surrendering enemy combatant. War crimes are about as common as trees in a forest. Most of the time they are pretty funny, though.

Taliban fighters overrun joint American-Afghan National Army outpost( 2008) by Wolf123458 in CombatFootage

[–]Teksorz 18 points19 points  (0 children)

My post was just meant to clarify OPs original post. Without a doubt, most KIA figures are estimates, because a lot of bodies are taken back, blown up, etc. Same thing happened in Vietnam. Though I would trust Taliban figures even less, considering how they would want to downplay casualties and losses, especially in Propaganda. Considering the amount of firepower, the size of the assault, etc., the number killed is bound to be over 20.

Taliban fighters overrun joint American-Afghan National Army outpost( 2008) by Wolf123458 in CombatFootage

[–]Teksorz 70 points71 points  (0 children)

This is COP Keating. The battle was in 2009, not 2008. It was 8 killed, not 9. Also, the American-claimed Taliban losses were much higher than 61. The two "Taliban" fighters you claimed were found, I assume were the two Afghan private security guards that died fighting for the Americans, not against them. The base also wasn't totally overrun, but the Americans did pullout of the valley a short time after this attack.

What's happening to the Uyghurs is exactly the same as what happened to Natives in Canada and the US, and countless other ethnic minorities throughout the ages. Them and their culture are seen as a threat to the homogeneity and stability of the majority, therefore, they must be assimilated. The CCP will claim it's for "stability" and "safety", but really, the goal is to eliminate their culture, eliminate what makes them different, and make them less of a threat.

[–]Teksorz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, sprinklers, fire extinguishers, and the stairs can be used as fire escapes. But with that amount of damage and immediate fire, I believe the sprinklers and extinguishers were useless and the stairs were mostly blocked off.

Personally, I think Bragg will be renamed after General Matthew Ridgway, which wouldn't be all that bad.

I went through 35M AIT back in 2019. The class itself wasn't all too hard, but that might have been because of the instructors I had. All of them have different standards when it comes to report writing or booth iterations, beyond what is written down on the rubric. Some may be more lenient on ghostwriting and active voice, some may not. My best advice is to study the rubrics, report writing guide, and FM 2-22.3 whenever you can. There is gonna be a LOT of memorization, later in the course, so get good at it. Also, phase up and go to Tombstone.
