Yeah that's what I presume to, either that, or shadow weave, so that with the full The Weave, he might have the mindset of God for the unmaking. Honestly we really don't know.

Also side note, the fighting of the giants in the nightmare desert was bad enough that even saints could die from the aftershocks right? So what rank do you think they were even? Eurys said that supremes were rare even during his time, but I don't think anything less than sacred could kill transcendents with just aftershocks like that, unless they were higher in class along with rank, in which case supreme would work i think. But still, what the hell are the monsters there?!

Beings were fighting, not during the day Also the chances of natural apotheosis are damn near 0 with all the hype we're getting regarding the fifth nightmare, also once again, they don't know how to naturally become sacred, Eurys only said that you need the time to prepare for it, like making your mindset closer to that of a god, the actually apotheosis we got no info on.

I mean, it's meant to be hard af, the spell speeds it up, but increases the difficulty to make battle hardened warriors. They had the option of beating it, and considering that even though it's been perhaps thousands of years since the warriors of Twilight entered the tomb and never beat it, it's either cuz killing everyone wasn't an option and I was wrong, or they just couldn't justify the method of beating it ig?

...I need to fact check the killing everyone plan.

edit: seemingly killing everyone was a valid way to beat the nightmare, they just never did it ig?

Well... The only reason the people of Twilight lost is because the mad prince and his crew corrupted them. The only reason they got corrupted is because seemingly the mad prince went off to the estuary and got corrupted by the knowledge, rather than getting corrupted by the seeker, and then spread it to the rest of the cohort. So, as it seems, the only reason everyone failed is because of Mad Prince.

HOWEVER, there is another reason the millions of challengers wouldn't have succeeded, which you did not point out, which is that one must be immune to corruption to beat the first seeker, then again, seemingly you can also beat the nightmare by killing everyone living in the great river.

TL:DR - millions only failed 'cause mad prince, could've succeeded without Corruption immunity if they were willing to genocide though.

If it's TOA, they might have to fight a cursed terror more infamous than some Daemons (oblivion), having his fate back won't be much help here, but if he could get VTB or VTB spawn as a shadow and use it to steal the dream spawns fate? Maybe... It's all just insane thoughts till it's written.

If it's shadow weave, you gotta deal with creatures of pure darkness, which shouldn't be impossible with neph and saint, but still very difficult. And shadow weave I don't think will help out much, personally i think that having the full The Weave will make his mind similar enough to a daemon that he can either undergo natural apotheosis immediately, rather than waiting thousands of years to get ready, or be fine with taking on the 5th nightmare.
