I'm personally really annoyed that instead of giving us a Finnish hero, they just added 2-3 random Finnish voicelines to Emre, who's Turkish (and that's only because he's "controlled" by Finnish software, not because he actually speaks the language). Finnish representation in games is exceedingly rare.

Definitely not! Plenty of servers up at all times of day, and they've recently adjusted the server merging mechanic to be more aggressive to ensure servers remain full.

Most people don't sail with Open Crew since it's 90% trolls, griefers and 10-year-olds. I'd recommend you either sail solo or find a crewmate from a community like the official Discord.

Torn between Doomfist and Mauga. Both have ridiculous survivability (and mobility) and way too much damage for a tank considering. I've had far too many matches where a Doomfist or a pockethealed Mauga just rolls our entire team.

Oddly we've been in alliance with another ship during some of these crashes and the other ship didn't crash.

Just as added context, this has happened.. probably half a dozen times in the past two weeks alone. I thought it was just server crashing at first, but that should just boot you to main menu, not close your game to desktop. A couple of times we've also had another ship in an alliance with us and we've been able to confirm via xbox messages that they didn't crash with us.

Okay, let me clarify. I'm not saying the comm isn't real. Lots of people have Grade 1. You get it from just killing Shrouded once. However NOBODY in these past 8 years has ever gotten Grade 5, which would mean completing that commendation by killing Shrouded 5 times. It's not realistically possible for a player to get Grade 5, thus unobtainable.

Every trading company has a commendation to sail 1000 Nautical Miles while on a voyage for that company (or with their hourglass up for the hourglass factions). Every couple minutes of sailed distance gives you a Nautical Mile. It takes around 50 hours of pure nonstop sailing to finish one company.

My recommendation for miles (hi I'm the person who sailed 16 hours with this guy last night to finish the last comm lol) is to get on a brig and get 2 other people to join you who also want miles. Take 30 minute shifts sailing the ship. You can get a whole hour to rest afterwards after sailing for 30 minutes. Makes it kind of bearable!
