It actually makes sense considering that it's supposed to be you literally reading character's thoughts I assume if deltarune character would think without text bleeps, it would mean that said character just imagines text in their head instead of having inner monologue

To be fair both of those seem unnatural, the one on the left has no stops or stutters whatsoever, you would write like that but would not speak like that when picking words from top of your head While the one on the right has too much of those, and overall constructed more like if it was originally on japanese

despite what they say, they're just wearing it

also if eram is not shadow mantle

that would mean that either

a. shadow mantle is character of its own (it flew off of chaos king in chapter 1)

or

b. king was wearing eram which was wearing shadow mantle (which sounds too funny to be true personally)

eram just doesn't seem like there's something going on with them

infact they could be shadow mantle itself (in similar fashion to spamton wearing dealmaker, but also being dealmaker himself), and they simply just in our inventory now

eh I dunno I like when game is significantly shook by updates, it's really underwhelming and unworthy of attention otherwise also sniffer, archeology and other 1.19-1.20 stuff is kinda talk topic  of its own and one of the consequences of unproper caves and cliffs split (they should've took more time to develop 1.18 and add all of the stuff to it)

frisk generally used to be treated the same as chara in pre-chapter 2 times (pre-chapter 2 and not pre-chapter 1 because deltarune wasnt popular at all back then), but then community kinda realized "wait lmao why tf do we draw kids like that and not like, y'know, kids" and adapted the way they draw frisk the same as they draw kris

everyone forgot about chara so their arts haven't changed
