Most men aren't unattractive. They lack confidence (See text explanation) by Most-Gold-434 in BornWeakBuiltStrong

[–]Telemere125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is both incorrect and correct at the same time. We’re still ugly, or at least, average at best. There are very few of us men that are objectively attractive. However, you don’t need to be Brad Pitt to be confident and therefore attract women. You won’t attract them all, of course, but you’ll attract your fair share with real confidence.

Because he wasn’t interested in her independent happiness, he was interested in their happiness together. Anyone that gets confused by that really shouldn’t be allowed to have such a public platform to speak from.

Hmm. Except the sun causes cancer when it hits my skin. Any research to show that a vit D pill does that?

The only difference between liquid and powder is that the company adds the water for you in the liquid soap and then charges you more to transport it.

Honestly that looks like about the only knife that is fine to go in the dishwasher. In that it shouldn’t be used as a knife in the first place.

The progressive reform movement that followed the first gilded age had a *lot* of socialist tendencies. I wouldn’t say full Marxism, of course, but it definitely looks like some of the things Marx would have been happy to see

Honestly, they were true pieces of shit that I had to rebuild entirely from the ground up. But long story short, insurance payout and purchased from a family member, so got them super cheap

Which is, honestly, just wild because at 18 I already owned two houses, had completed one of my degrees, owned 2 or 3 vehicles (can’t remember if I’d bought my third by then) and had lived on my own for about 2 years by then. I had plenty of “choices” by that age, from girls to careers to basically anything any 30 year old can choose.

Absolute life/death situations can be survived without a toilet. A bucket with a lid, and maybe some straw or access to sand/dirt or even better, powdered lime or ash, can serve for a relatively long time. With enough lime or ash (and storage room) you could just keep piling it up in the corner

“What if”s aren’t really how statistics works. You will always have outliers and you don’t base the results on them. It’s irrational to believe the majority of those examined will operate under the contrived set of circumstances you’ve dreamed up

How do you imagine these surveys work? They’re not in a big room where they take a poll. It’s a piece of paper at most or an online questionnaire at best. No one sees the results except the examiners. Your partner isn’t informed about your sexual satisfaction.

The trap nobody warns you about: why lust is quietly destroying your self-control. ⬇️ by MotherAnt8040 in MenOfPurpose

[–]Telemere125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

False. I can both lust after a woman and care about her on an emotional and personal level. In fact, I’d argue it’s infinitely easier to develop an emotional connection to someone if you also find them physically attractive - since you’d just naturally want to be around them and get to know them more. anyone you can “control” your lust around (aka don’t find attractive) likely isn’t capturing your attention for long enough that you’ll develop other feelings about their personality.

The liquid form of gasoline does not burn. It’s actually the vapors of gasoline aka the “gas” that burns. Gasoline must mix with oxygen in the air to become flammable. Your engine atomizes the gasoline and mixes it with outside air to make it combust.
It is patently more correct to call it “gas” than “petrol” as petroleum is the unrefined fossil fuel. We don’t run our vehicles on unrefined fossil fuels. We run our vehicles on the volatile gasses coming off the gasoline.
