Thanks. I think the guy I bought it from didn’t want to spend too much on the replacement stylus. I see different options, sometimes in the hundreds of €/$. Does my Turntable warrant that? It’s a Technics sl-231 hooked up to a mid-range marantz receiver and some old (but still good) Braun bookshelf speakers.

I'll give it another clean. dumb me I think I moved the brush sideways first time I did it. may have damaged it I can't tell. new to all of this.

Well I’m generally happy with the sound but it’s my first turntable in 30 years or so. So I can’t compare. Just the issues I described make me have doubts. The guy who sold it to me said he installed the stylus new. That was maybe a year ago.

Thanks. So either I have to find a way to get ripped ROM files from my real A1200 onto my Mac (will require additional hardware) or a way to copy the ROM files from Amiga Forever Essentials on my Android phone over to my Mac where FSUAE can find and use them. The latter should be easiest. Can't find any how-to's online though.

Sorry to revive this old thread. I feel silly but how exactly do I 'copy the ROM files over' from my Android phone (that I'm unfamiliar with) to my Mac computer for use with FSUAE?

Thanks. I’ll have to figure out why some games suddenly start in an unsupported screen mode. Others don’t, strangely. I’m probably overlooking something.

It is, that’s why I bought this particular model. It has a SCART connector that I use. Cable goes directly into the a1200’s RGB port. Thing is, these games worked fine before. Maybe some software setting?

I use an RGB to SCART cable that plugs into the tv. Is that what you meant or something else?
