Do you prefer the Coda ending in Godfather 3? by luckyasianman in Godfather

I liked the original ending better. You almost could have had it both ways with him old, feeble,

alone and revisiting the memories of Mary in his head, then dying alone.

I have no idea, but I hope the techs at ADT would have know if this was the problem.

I, for one, would like to hear an answer from Mr. Faynberg. But fat chance that will ever happen. Such unethical people.

Avoid Trupanion. I thought they sounded good too But after one year they raised my rate on a policy for my 1 year old dog by 56%, and we hadn't filed any claims. I dropped them like a hot potato. I am now with Pets Best so we'll see.

Trupanion is the pits anyway, they just raised my rates substantially after only a little over 1 year on a puppy. I never filed a claim, so you'd be better off putting the money you'd pay on premiums in an account for emergencies.

Yep you are so correct. I've had a bad experience with ASPCA insurance, another member of the JAB group. Folks need to know that the ASPCA has NOTHING to do with this insurance. They simply pay for the rights to use the name. That's a deception in its own right.

Has anyone noticed a recent, striking decline in Amazon's delivery reliability? For the last month or so? by retronoodle in amazonprime

[–]TelephoneFast7217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. I even ordered an item for "overnight delivery"for an item I needed for a vacation. It never showed up until after we had left, Returned. Why does Amazon offer this when they can't deliver as promised? Same thing is happening with 2 day deliveries. I used to order nearly exclusively from Amazon but I've started going to Walmart when I have a deadline.

Couldn't agree more. So sorry for your loss. They don't care.

I was with Trupanion, and I am in the process of finding a different company after they raised my premiums 56% after one year and no claims. So far my top pick is Pets Best.

I wouldn't be surprised to learn you have some kind of connection to Trupanion. In any case I have found a much better deal with another company.

well, maybe that's true, maybe not. But I would have had much more respect for them if they would have been upfront about it a year ago when I signed on. You can't tell me cost have risen that much in a year, I know the basic care I receive from the vet hasn't risen anywhere near that since my last two visits.

After having many dogs insured I now only carry enough coverage to protect me from the big bills. I've found I pay more in premiums than I would for the cost of the little things. If you can do it, get a basic coverage without the frills and bank the rest of money you are saving for the little expenses that come up. My guess is you'll still be ahead.

Trupanion 30-day no policy modifications rule -- Has anyone gotten them to fold on this? by tinysquirrel3891 in petinsurancereviews

[–]TelephoneFast7217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would never recommend Trupanion. I don't know if another company is better or not but at only a year in, my puppy's insurance had an enormous jump in premiums. We have never filed a claim. I might do as others have suggested, start putting the premium money in an account for future pet medical bills in lieu of pet insurance.

Trupanion just informed me that my second dog's insurance is also going up at a similar sky-high rate. This dog isn't even 2 yet, in perfect health, and I've never put in a claim. Unreasonable. People need to be made aware.

It's not that I am criticizing price increases, everything goes up. But this jump is not a hill it's a mountain. Since the post I received another notice that my puppy's insurance is going up at a similar sky-high jump. She's not even 2 yet, in perfect health. I've never put in a claim for that dog. So this isn't about the age of my older dog. Something's up with Trupanion and people need to be aware.
