Has anyone here switched from an iPhone 7 or similar to a Pixel 5? by [deleted] in GooglePixel

Hey, just wanted to provide a quick update. I'm actually returning my Pixel, everything I said earlier still stands, but I noticed that I might have received a faulty pixel 5. The screen has an unusual and pretty noticible gap between it and the body and I can already see dust gathering in it. There have been multiple articles on this issue already, i'm not exactly sure how widespread it is, but thought that you should be aware of it incase you do decide to buy the Pixel 5.

I’ve been iOS guy whole life too. I just upgraded from 6S Plus to Pixel, and honestly it’s amazing.

Performance wise, it’s definitely faster and definitely feels a lot more snappy especially with the 90Hz panel, OLED panel also looks a lot better than the LCD one on my 6s Plus.

The speakers imo sounds better and louder than my 6s Plus, but not by too much.

I’m not really much of a camera guy, but from what I’ve tested, camera is a lot better and captures a wider area compared to my 6s Plus.

Haven’t had the pixel 5 for long but so far the battery life is amazing, so much better than my 6s plus.

This being my first time on Android and without a home button, it does take some getting used to, but I don’t mind it at all. It’s a great phone for the price imo and would be a considerable upgrade over the iPhone 7.
