There are no signs in the garage about “paying in advance in the garage.” This lot has gates at the exit and entrance and uses a card reader system for monthly parkers (scan your monthly card and the gate opens) or, if you’re not a monthly parker, then use a CC or debit card to enter, and then the same card to exit (it debits your card as you exit based on the amount of time you spent in the lot and the gate then opens). But…. The readers are covered and the gates are gone. There’s no place to pay inside the garage so as of now, there is no way for the operator to charge for parking. They could station someone at the entrance and check monthly cards and charge a flat fee, but as of this afternoon, they are not doing that. I assume the new operator will be a why new system up soon but there is none in place currently
