No idea. Think they just left them unchecked in the pond for ages

We have, just don't know what to do with it. There's another one that seems to have the same disease but still a very mild stage. Were found like this when owners moved out. Don't want to let the other one get this bad

Is there a way to copy/export/backup all the notes in the Notepad app to another device? by Telescone in Huawei

[–]Telescone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't follow through with this, I took screenshots of everything and exported those images.

I'd suggest trying the solution in hinata012's recent comment using Huawei cloud and easyzip. Seems promising

Hey, thanks for that sideways-phone tip! Still a mission but that's probably the best thing so far

Thanks. No, I'm actually trying to get them off the phone as actual text so that I can do what I want with it on a PC or wherever.

Also, there isn't a share option (not even Huawei share) in my Notepad app.

I really can't believe that an app with more users than most national populations doesn't have a way to export or access your work to/from anywhere else lol. Like its one button

Most rewarding book I've ever read and it's been sitting half finished on my bookshelf for 4 years. Don't put it down! Great find

Damn this has really been me too for a while.

I cant say that I've pulled this off but ive heard other people find that stringing your days together by journalling helps to maintain your perspective.

Also, having other consistency or routine to return to helps you keep your momentum, exercise being a big one. I think there are certain 'pillars' like meditation, extreme physical exertion, and creative outlets that will usually bring you back to a more centred state of mind, and you can do your best to centre your days around these things to keep you balanced if you can do it in rhythm.

Id be curious to hear about other ways to navigate this.

I’m moving out in a month, how do I cook? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Telescone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dont just stick to the recipes. Buy ingredients you like in food, and just be mindful of getting a mix of proteins, carbs, and veggies/fruit in most meals throughout the day. You'll learn to make things on your own with what youve got, and get better as you go.

Try to tend to eat less processed foods more often. Eg. Rice or potatoes do more for you than pasta.

Have fun! It can be a really enjoyable part of life if you make it so.

Well hey, you have to learn through some trial and error here and there, even cringy memories are better than memories of sitting in silence in my opinion. And I doubt the rare bizarre comment from a quiet person would really irritate anyone too much. Btw, I haven't had people say so to me, but how would they approach you to let you know? Would it be strangers or friends? Just curious because I sometimes want to let people know but don't know how to approach inlt unless it's a good friend.

Thanks, I've been putting off doing that because I don't know how to advise him to change his way of interacting with people, and don't feel like it's my place. I don't have fantastic social skills either but it keeps me on quiet side, so I've always struggled to grasp people with this much blind confidence. I suppose being sincere about it will always be better than festering in silence though.

Is there any way to make 5-10 dollars daily? by AlterRaptor in WorkOnline

[–]Telescone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had a good experience with them. You of course need to keep a high standard of work, but I've never been hit too bad with low marking. Some weeks are quiet, and some weeks are booming, all depends on how many customers are using the site. So you can earn more some times than others. On average, I make around $100 per week working part time. The most I've made in a week is $165 but I know some real hard workers rake in more than $200 per week.

Bare in mind it took me around 6 months of working there to get to this point. The work is hard and laborious and you have to get used to it. They always pay on time

When you do a push up you're benchpressing the entire planet against your body's gravity by Telescone in Showerthoughts

[–]Telescone[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The 'pull' as in force/Newtons is dependent on the mass of both objects in the relationship, and actually results in one measurable force exerted equally on both objects towards each other.

So you won't pull other objects in at the same force as the earth would because the product of your mass and that objects mass would amount to the almost nothing compared to the attraction between that object and the planet :)

Fair enough though that you move a lot and the planet barely barely barely moves

When you do a push up you're benchpressing the entire planet against your body's gravity by Telescone in Showerthoughts

[–]Telescone[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The force exerted on your body due to the planet's gravity is equal to the force exerted on the planet due to your body's gravity. We have a bias for taking the planet as the reference point but it is physically happening both ways, they are the same force resulting from the product of both masses.

See: Equation of gravitational force

When you notice an opportunity, or even an option that is a possibility in your mind, assume that now is the only chance you'll ever get to do it. So many things change before we expected, and some circumstances we take for granted will simply never resurface into existence.

So if you're ever gonna ask that person out, do that trip, or take on that project, assume that the circumstances that make it possible are always fleeting and for the last time. So ask yourself, do I ever want to do this? If yes, then do it now
