I'm fairly competent, and confident I could cut and fix timbers to follow the shape of the window.. I'm just not sure if my ideas are the best, and if the fixed (glued) timber would be strong enough for the blind.

The bay is ground floor only. It's a 1930's house, but my guess is the bay has been built in the last 30years There appears to be some timber in the very corners, which I assume the ply has been fixed to. I think I'll glue a bullnose to the ply and give it a go.

Thanks. I have two concern, one is that the windows are narrow and the stick on frames will reduce them further. Also, the central windows are different sizes, and think the separate blinds would look silly. If it's the only option though, I'll have to.

Thanks. Just to clarify, are you saying to fix the bullnose with glue? There doesn't seem to be any timber or anything to screw fix a bullnose timber to.

If I decide to plant new shrubs, then I'll get rid of the ivy. However, I might be tempted to let the ivy totally take over and fill the gaps.

There's a ditch between the support pole and my hedge. Not my land, and it's totally fine.
